Stakeholder Engagement and PR
It hardly needs to be mentioned how important it is to inform your partners, clients, other stakeholders, and the public about your sustainability initiatives. iReuse can help organize and present the results of your sustainability programs through a variety of media and internal/external outlets, incorporating background information where necessary to provide clarity and transparency.

Green Business and Sustainability Certifications
No matter your location or industry, there are resources available to help you substantiate your sustainability claims. Hospitality Consulting
In many ways, the hospitality industry is the ideal place to implement and showcase sustainability efforts. Sample Project: E-Waste

When a large software company wanted to ensure they were handling their IT asset disposition process in the most environmentally and socially responsible way possible, iReuse made it happen.

Client: Software development company
Request: Research, document, and improve the company’s current IT asset disposition processes.
Solution: Comprehensive review of e-waste disposition at all North America locations, detailed plan for improvement, and support implementing changes.

Summary
The IT asset disposition (“e-waste”) industry has been rife with controversy over the illegal dumping of equipment overseas, among other serious transgressions. When this client wanted to conduct a thorough review of their own IT equipment handling processes, they needed a trusted consultant who could navigate this complex process. The company chose iReuse on the basis of their experience receiving other services from iReuse over several years.

Working with members of their Sustainability, Technology, and Facilities teams, iReuse conducted in-depth research into current practices, interviewing on-site facilities managers and their current e-waste vendors across the United States and Canada. The final steps— identifying appropriate third-party certification bodies, and recommending certified replacement vendors—were conducted through the lens of the company’s priorities. These priorities included insuring all materials are handled optimally, maximizing reuse, and taking accurate, detailed account of all e-waste generated, and the accompanying environmental impacts.
